HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir becomes a haunted school on 17 and 18 October 2026, 5pm to 11pm. The weekend is called The First Assembly, the Bedok chapter of SpoOktober 2026: Detention After Dark.
The official event page sets the story in a school built on the reservoir edge. After dark, water seeps into classrooms and students come back soaked. The line the clubhouse is using is blunt: the students did not disappear, they drowned. Two scare zones with live actors sit on those grounds. A carnival sits away from the jumps, which is the bit that actually makes this usable for families.
What runs at Bedok Reservoir
Nadhirah Ibrahim, senior executive for events and marketing at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir, told the club's Frontline magazine the plan is to fill the clubhouse with scare zones you can walk more than once. Re-entry is allowed if the queue can take it. The haunted rooms get slowest between 7pm and 9pm. Go earlier or later if you hate standing in line.
The carnival is the other half of the night: game booths, glitter tattoos, trick-or-treat, pinatas, Halloween snacks and drinks. Scare zones still use dark corridors, loud effects and sudden jumps. Children under 12 need an adult inside those rooms. Kids aged 3 and below enter free. Ages 4 and up need a ticket.
Tickets, rain and getting there
HomeTeamNS member tickets are $22 for a single, $33 for a pair and $71 for a party of five. Affiliate tickets start from $30. Guest tickets start from $35. The 10 percent early-bird cut ended on 20 September. Members earn double +HPoints, and the first 150 people who pre-register at each clubhouse get a pumpkin goodie bag. Walk-up tickets are only sold if space is left. Book on the HomeTeamNS site.
The night goes ahead in rain. Almost all of the programme is indoors. Parking at 900 Bedok North Road is first come, first served, and the organiser asks people to take public transport. Bedok Reservoir MRT on the Downtown Line is the nearest station. Costumes are fine if they stay family-friendly. Leave realistic weapons and bulky props at home.
The same ticket price also covers later weekends if you want the rest of the trilogy: The Night Walk at HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok on 24 and 25 October, then The Last Class at HomeTeamNS Khatib on 31 October and 1 November, which has four scare zones. Those two clubhouses are not in Bedok. The east-side dates are 17 and 18 October.
Official terms list tickets as non-refundable and non-transferable. Skip the scare zones if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or do not want flashing lights and sudden noise. Full details and booking sit on the HomeTeamNS SpoOktober 2026 page.
